Two years running we taught local ladies, not only how to make their own Crimbo presents to give to family and to save money, but also showed them how to make good quality stuff that they can sell to the public. We taught the participants how to make basic craft items that they could give as gifts. They made extra and sold their wares at a local craft market which meant they made enough money to all go out together for a Christmas meal. Something a lot us avoid with our colleagues but something you miss if you don’t have it. They made over £200 and had a lovely meal together.
